About Narrow Passage Press

Narrow Passage Press was founded in November 1988 as a regional printing affiliate of Shenandoah Publications, Inc. In the years since, it has provided printing and related services to Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, DC area publishers, including those of newspapers and specialty publications.

Operating from corporate offices and a production facility just off Interstate 81 in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Narrow Passage today offers a full range of web and sheetfed printing services.

It’s parent company in 1985 produced the nation’s first newspaper using Macintosh desktop computers, and Narrow Passage Press was among Virginia’s pioneers in the use of computer-to-plate technology.
